Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Title:

Licensed Practical Nurse (On-Call) – Contract (3 months, with extension option)

Base Pay Range: CA $33.00/hr - CA $38.00/hr

We are currently seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for on‑call coverage in Long‑Term Care (LTC) facilities across Calgary. This role is ideal for dependable LPNs who are comfortable in a fast‑paced, facility‑based care environment and can pick up day, evening, and night shifts as needed.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an LPN in Canada.
• Valid Canadian work permit or Canadian citizenship.
• Able to work on‑call across varied shifts (days, evenings, nights).

• Active LPN Registration – Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta.
• First Aid Certification – Valid and current.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Valid and current, issued within the last 2 years.
• Both First Aid and BLS Certifications – Valid and current, issued within the last 2 years.
• Criminal Background Check – Valid and current, issued within the last 2 years.
• Immunization Records – Should include flu shot, or agreement to Tamiflu treatment in event of a flu outbreak at the facility.
• Contract Length – 3 months, with option to extend; contractors may request removal from the contract at any time.

$33/hour – T4 employment; $38/hour – Incorporated or Sole Proprietor contractor.
