AHF is seeking a Food Distribution Associate to support the execution of food pickups and distribution efforts. This role works closely with the Food Distribution Program Manager to coordinate logistics, support distribution days, and help keep records organized. It is a hands-on role that helps ensure food redistribution runs smoothly and consistently. This would include working with the Kit distribution team or the research team in certain scenarios.
RequirementsSupport scheduled food pickups and distribution activities
Communicate with volunteers and partners about timing and logistics
Help organize supplies needed for distribution days
Track simple records of pickups and distribution totals when applicable
Support safe handling practices and respectful distribution
Assist with planning improvements to make the process more efficient
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with operational support work
Experience in volunteering, logistics, or community work is an asset
Approximately 1 to 5 hours per week
