Volunteer Onboarding Coordinator

Job Description

This is a volunteer position with no pay. ARK (Accessibility Renovations For Kids) is looking for a Volunteer Onboarding Coordinator to join our Volunteer Committee. We have an opportunity to make a tangible impact with a child and their family by helping children with disabilities.

Approximately 2‑4 hours per week.

• Work with the recruitment coordinator, IT team, and Committee leads to onboard new volunteers.
• Ensure volunteers have access to all materials required.
• Send volunteers and have them sign necessary onboarding documents.
• Follow up with new volunteers to help ensure they are trained and engaged.
• Complete other duties as required.

• Onboarding experience and training preferred.
• Human Resources training an asset.
• Resident of Calgary or surrounding areas.

• English as a primary language.
• Effective time‑management skills and ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
