As a key member of the Fund Development team, the Fund Development Coordinator plays a critical role in cultivating sponsor and donor relationships that fund our mission. Reporting to the Director, Development, this position supports fundraising activities, donor stewardship, proposal development, and sponsorship fulfillment.
You’ll help bring our programs to life by ensuring supporters feel valued and engaged — from personalized thank-you letters to donor reports, event support, and recognition initiatives. You will also contribute to our scholarship program and assist in shaping donor communication strategies that align with 4-H Alberta’s values and goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Cultivating and stewarding sponsor and donor relationships
- Supporting sponsorship benefit delivery and engagement opportunities
- Assisting in the preparation of funding proposals, donor reports, and presentation materials
- Managing communication timelines and donor databases
- Collaborating on annual and multi-year fundraising and stewardship plans
- Supporting donor recognition, scholarship programming, and annual giving campaigns
Who You Are:
- A relationship-builder with strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
- Experienced in fundraising, sponsorship, or nonprofit development (1–2 years preferred)
- Skilled in donor databases and familiar with CRA guidelines
- Passionate about youth, agriculture, and community impact
