We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to assist with creating, scheduling, and analyzing content across multiple platforms, supporting brand awareness, recruitment, and industry campaigns while gaining exposure to internal communications and field operations. This role is well suited for someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and interested in building foundational skills in social media strategy, content creation, and analytics in a fast‑paced environment.

- Assist in the creation and scheduling of content for corporate social media channels (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, and You Tube).
- Draft captions, short form copy, and basic creative assets aligned with brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement, comments, and inquiries, escalating as appropriate.
- Assist with social media reporting and analytics to track performance and engagement.
- Support digital and marketing campaigns, including recruitment, corporate initiatives, and industry partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and field personnel to gather content and stories.
- Maintain an organized content library of images, videos, and digital assets.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Communications & Marketing team as needed.
- Education:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post‑secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field. - Values Alignment:
Commitment to acting with honesty, fairness, and respect, as well as valuing diverse perspectives and working collaboratively with others. - Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
- Basic experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe, mobile editing apps) is an asset.
- Interest in social media, digital marketing, storytelling, and brand development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication to articulate ideas effectively.
- Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for visual storytelling.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
