Kelly Services is pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Communication Specialist for our client in Calgary, AB, a leader in the oil & gas industry. This is a full time 12 months contract with a possibility of extension.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Provides leadership, consultation and coordination for the development and deployment of communications strategies for a selected GBU/LOB (Global Business Unit/Line of Business) consistent with brand strategy.Acts as key point of contact internally and externally for the development of marketing communications strategies.Manages execution of integrated marketing communications programs working with internal clients and 3rd party agencies from project briefing to creative development and production to measurement.Plans, manages and stewards marketing communications budgets. Ensure the use of established Global Brand Guidelines and oversee the implementation of the brands across areas of assignment.Supports GBU/LOBs in the development of brand strategies, positioning and builds support through the organization with key stakeholders and others in support of those strategies.May act as asset owner for components of the brand communications (website content, print literature, etc.). Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.SKILLS AND
QUALIFICATIONS:At least 10 years of experience as communication specialist.Solid work experience in the oil and gas industry.Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in MS Office.
