Experienced Cabinet Maker / Furniture Maker (Calgary)
Tired of building the same box every day? We’re hiring a Custom Furniture Fabricator for a premier workshop in Calgary. We need a craftsman who can take a concept and run with it.
ExperienceExperience:
Must have a background in custom furniture/high-end fabrication.
Pay: $26+/hr.
ScheduleSchedule:
7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Mon–Fri (Saturday OT available).

- Interpret blueprints, sketches, or design specifications to build custom furniture and cabinetry
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood substitutes using a variety of tools
- Work with veneers, solid wood, laminates, and specialty materials
- Sand, finish, and touch up pieces to meet high-end standards
- Install hardware and complete detailed finishing work
- Collaborate with designers and team members to bring custom pieces to life
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and perform basic machine maintenance
- Proven experience in cabinet making with a focus on custom furniture (not just production cabinetry)
- Strong ability to read and work from design drawings and specifications
- High-level skill with woodworking tools including table saws, routers, planers, and hand tools
- Keen eye for detail and precision
- Ability to work independently on custom builds from start to finish
- CSA-approved steel toe boots required
