Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team in Calgary, AB. This role requires hands-on experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in inventory control. This role involves material handling, stock rotation, scanning, and supporting production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Pay Rate: $
    21.00/hour
  • Location: Calgary, AB
  • Schedule: Continental Shift rotation, 12-hour shifts.
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dunnage materials for movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Perform stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out) to maintain accurate inventory flow.
  • Accurately scan product tags to assigned locations and record information on run tallies.
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete required inspection documentation.
  • Assist with scheduled and ad-hoc physical inventory counts.
  • Operate labeling equipment as required.
  • Change wrap on the Mueller machine to maintain continuous production line operation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies to the Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
  • Actively participate in the company's Health & Safety Program.
  • Perform other warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience with valid certification.
  • Experience with RF scanners and inventory control processes.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations without a calculator.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, production-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and conduct basic root-cause analysis for operating errors.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
