Production Worker – Day Shift
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker will be responsible for operating the production equipment during production.
This position is temporary and is contract based with the possibility of extension.

- Operate machinery.
- Operate forklift to handle ingredients.
- Handle, move, weigh, mix, record ingredients.
- Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Quality Assurance Standards, and Food Safety Requirements.
- Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
- High School Diploma or combination of education and experience.
- Forklift operator certificate required.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act as it relates to operating equipment.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in the forklift operations (food or beverage setting, an asset).
- Speak and write fluent English.
- Attendance, punctuality and self-motivation.
- Good mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, understand procedures, analyze products and fill in reports.
- Ability to work well with co-workers and perform within a team.
- Ability to act with reasoned response using judgment appropriate to the situation.
- Must maintain a high standard of personal hygiene in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Must be able to work well under stress.
- Ability to work different shifts as required based upon operational needs.
- Successful completion of the 90-day familiarization period.
- Successful completion of the progressive skills report.
