Ability to commute or relocate to Calgary, AB (required). Experience as a millwright is preferred (1 year).

- Set up, operate, or tend woodworking machines such as drill presses, lathes, routers, sanders, planers, and nailing machines.
- Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Fill all part requirements for the kitting department.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tooling.
- Examine finished work for quality and conformity to specifications.
- Start machines, adjust controls, and perform trial cuts.
- Use measuring instruments like rulers, calipers, and gauges.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
- Work at different stations based on production needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Use proper safety equipment and apparel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The Woodworking Machine Operator will set up, operate, and maintain woodworking machines to produce wooden parts for furniture and cabinetry. This role requires attention to detail, woodworking knowledge, and teamwork skills.
