Do you love beer and making beer? That’s great because Eighty-Eight Brewing Company is hiring a motivated brewer to join our production team. Reporting to the Head Brewer and Production Manager, this full-time role is all about hands‑on brewing, cleanliness, cellaring, packaging and consistency. With attitude, raditude and aptitude, there’s plenty of room for growth.
This role is for Wednesday to Sunday, Full-Time(35-40 hours/week with occasional overtime)
What You’ll Do:- Execute daily brewhouse operations following recipes and SOPs.
- Perform production related tasks including but not limited to daily tank checks, brewing, transfers, dry hops, harvests, CIPs, packaging and more.
- Follow the production schedule and communicate timing/constraints with the team.
- Handle, stage and record raw materials accurately (including EKOS/brewsheets).
- Keep brewhouse, cellar and surrounding areas clean.
- Support cross‑functional tasks as needed (cellaring, transfers, packaging, kegging).
- Follow safety practices including WHMIS, and chemical‑handling procedures, with required PPE, ensuring everybody goes home safely.
- Participate in regular sensory tasting and quality checks.
- Loves beer and understands brewing.
- Has experience in a production brewery (strong candidates without experience are welcome).
- Organized, punctual, and detail‑oriented with clean record‑keeping habits.
- Positive attitude, good playlists and a team‑first mindset, but can work solo when needed.
- Mechanically curious; comfortable with valves, pumps, gaskets and basic troubleshooting.
- Comfortable with physical work: is able to safely lift 55lbs and spend most of the day standing.
- Type:
Full-time – Wednesday to Sunday, 35-40 hours per week, with occasional overtime. - Wage: $22-$25/hour (commensurate with experience), plus $2/hour weekend shift differential and annual bonus.
- Vacation: 15 paid vacation days accrued annually.
