Position: On-the-job Trainer - OJT

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an On‑the‑job Trainer to join one of Canada's leading Aviation companies on a full‑time basis, sitting out of Calgary AB. The hours for this role will be Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. A successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between classroom instruction and workplace performance. This role focuses on providing hands‑on coaching, mentoring, and skill assessment to post‑graduate trainees within Operations.

The OJT ensures that trainees can apply their knowledge effectively in real‑world production environments and are fully prepared for job‑readiness on the floor.

Skills and Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing training in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing role, specifically using sheet metal.
  • Strong knowledge of power tools and how to use them.
  • Ability to train multiple team members and act as the primary point of contact for training-related inquiries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Plus
  • Technical degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering is an asset.
