Maintenance Manager
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will lead our mechanics in maintaining all equipment and building at our juice manufacturing plant. You have supervisory experience, Tetra Pak expertise, and can manage priorities in a dynamic setting. You are motivated with a passion for maintenance and leadership; we want you on our team!

- Leadership and Coordination:
- Manage a team of mechanics responsible for equipment and building maintenance in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with stakeholders to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for co‑packing equipment located at a third‑party warehouse.
- Collaborate with management to schedule preventive maintenance and major overhauls in alignment with production schedules.
- Coordinate with in‑house and OEM maintenance personnel.
- Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with internal risk management protocols and provincial regulations.
- Foster a safety‑focused environment by enforcing risk assessments, LOTO and safety procedures.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff to uphold safety and quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis for downtimes and propose preventive measures.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend maintenance procedures.
- Budget and Operational Excellence:
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, overseeing Capex projects as needed.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance in our system.
- Support the Production Department in enhancing plant efficiencies and other departments in meeting customer service targets.
- Regularly inspect machinery and facilities to anticipate potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Previous experience in maintenance supervisory role, preferably in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles and practices.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation is considered a valuable asset.
- Strong knowledge of Tetra Pak equipment and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and perform in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Solid project and budget management skills.
- Customer‑focused with strong relationship‑building skills.

- Must be flexible to adjust working hours as required to support operational needs.
- Be available to assist the maintenance team operating on a 24/7 schedule, which may include occasional off‑hours communication or emergency response to ensure continuous support for team members and other key contacts.
