Banded Peak Brewing started from humble beginnings with three friends opening a brewery and taproom in Calgary in May of 2016. Positions: Full-time Packaging Technician

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:00PM (on site)

Location: th Ave SE, Calgary AB, T2G 1V1

Salary: $21/Hour

Banded Peak Brewing is looking for a full-time packaging technician to join the growing packaging team. The position will be primarily Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4:00PM with opportunity for occasional overtime. The Packaging Tech will learn from the Packaging Lead and other members of the production team how to perform various tasks to facilitate daily production requirements at the brewery, including but not limited to packaging, shipping/receiving, organization, and cleaning.

The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter who is comfortable working on their own while supporting the policies, goals, and safety practices of Banded Peak Brewing.

• Follow SOPs to execute packaging processes according to company policy.
• Consistently follow all guidelines and routines around safety, quality, and sanitization.
• Troubleshooting issues that arise during packaging.
• Execute duties efficiently in line with the packaging schedule.
• Warehousing (Organizing Pallets, Wrapping and Strapping).
• Daily packaging reports.
• Perform checks on product to ensure our quality standards are met.
• Keeping a tidy and organized workspace.
• Participate and engage with other internal brewery groups as needed including Brewing, Cellaring, Safety and QA.
• Increase beer culture in the brewery and outside by sharing your knowledge and passion of beer.
• Positive representation of Banded Peak at internal and external events.
