* Job Description:

** This is a great opportunity to lead Sun Life's Sun Advantage business across the Western Region, driving strategic growth and operational excellence.

You'll combine business acumen with people leadership to build a high-performing team, strengthen advisor and plan sponsor relationships, and exceed financial targets.
*** Business Leadership
**** Develop and execute the strategic business plan for Sun Advantage in the Western Region
* Working collaboratively with Business Development Leadership to achieve targeted financial outcomes
*** Relationship Management
**** Build and maintain strong partnerships with key advisors, plan sponsors, and internal stakeholders; focus on satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth
*** Revenue & Growth
**** Drive new business development, client expansion, and net sales while maintaining profitability across the segment
*** People Development
**** Foster a high-engagement, high-performance culture that attracts and develops talented professionals committed to exceeding objectives
*** Operational Excellence
**** Collaborate with peers to establish and implement best practices, processes, and procedures that enhance organizational effectiveness
* Represent Sun Life at industry, business, and community events, strengthening external brand presence and internal relationships
* Minimum 5 years + in Group Benefits industry
* 5 years+ in senior leadership roles managing teams
* Post-secondary degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
* CEBS designation (preferred asset)
* Valid driver's license with willingness to travel as required

**** Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor diverse teams in demanding environments while driving change and building trust

**** Strong understanding of sales planning, financial analysis, and business metrics

** This position covers the Western Region, including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.
** The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
