Our Aftersales Team is seeking a Claims Manager to join our team in Singapore. In this position you will collaborate with a dynamic, diverse team to deliver exceptional service and repairs bringing your expertise and passion for quality to drive your career forward.
What you’ll do
Oversee the processing of insurance claims to ensure the procedure is handled efficiently, accurately, and in a manner that protects the interests of the insured parties while also providing satisfactory customer service. Resolve customer complaints & short fail of services
Liaison between clients, adjusters, service providers, and all related parties
Managing all frontline and workshop operation in an efficient manner
Lead a team of claim officers, provide training and guidance as well as managing their work performance
Proficient in negotiation and settle claims with third‑party claimants, insurers, law firms, external service providers and workshops accurately and timely
Ensure all claim matters are resolve adherence to NIMA Guideline and compliance with all regulatory requirements
To facilitate the achievement KPIs target set for frontline
Formulating long and short‑term strategies to ensure the profitability for existence of B&P. Coach and guide ensure all the business dealings are ethical and meet Inchcape Code of Conduct
Responsible for service center’s profit and loss
Maintaining a good working relationship with all insurance companies
Ensure Insurance protocol is adhered to accordingly
Under‑take any ad‑hoc duties or initiatives
About you
Preferably with Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
At least 5 years of relevant technical and managerial work experience in automotive claims and handling claims disputes professionally
Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Must have a Valid Class 3 driving license
Proficient in local laws and regulations
Strong leadership qualities, effective interpersonal and excellent communication skills
Able to adapt and work independently in a fast‑paced environment
