Team Lead, Fulfillment

We are on the lookout for a Team Lead, Fulfillment who shares our passion for being Customer Obsessed. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in being responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in logistics or warehouse management, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Location: 4750 43 St SE, Calgary, AB T2B 3N3

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour

Hours of work: 8:30am‑5pm Monday‑Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and storing inventory delivered to the warehouse
  • Staging and sorting of items, palletizing, and crating
  • Provide regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics (SLAs) to the operations leadership
  • Move, pick, pack, and scan items in a safe manner
  • Use of tools including but not limited to scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies
  • Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate fashion
  • Follow all 5S processes consistently and effectively
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Train new employees on company standards and procedures
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback
  • Ensure accurate inventory management, including stock counts and reconciliations
  • Implement and maintain warehouse processes and procedures to maximize efficiency
  • Enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing goods
  • Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, account management, and customer service, to coordinate activities and resolve issues
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and the Google Suite
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs)
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Have a valid reach truck license (preferred)
