Hotel Arts is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Facilities department.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with passionate professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the infrastructure of the complex, refreshing guest rooms, public areas, and meeting rooms, and contributing to the growth and development of the Maintenance Department.
Responsibilities:
Complete daily rounds of all areas of the building, monitoring the operation of the Complex’s infrastructure and making adjustments as needed to ensure it runs efficientlyPreventative maintenance on all guest rooms, including heating/cooling, plumbing, lighting and all other operational aspects to ensure guest satisfactionRespond to all guest and departmental calls for maintenance deficiencies and requestsComplete all assigned daily/weekly/monthly Preventative Maintenance Requests in a timely mannerConsistently update the Chief Engineer Facilities regarding the completion timeline of any engaged projects as well as of any parts and supplies requiredUnderstand and be able to demonstrate the responsibilities in the Emergency Response Plan in correspondence with your positionBe involved in all Departmental Meetings and contribute to the growth, development, and presence of the Maintenance DepartmentPerform other assigned comparable or transient duties that are within the domain of knowledge and skills required by the position descriptionRequirements:
Previous hotel experience an assetTrade tickets and/or certifications an assetPlumbing ticket considered an assetAdaptable to a flexible schedule as business needs dictate (includes weekends, evenings, and holidays)Excellent time management and communication skillsBasic computer knowledgeWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for advancement, and a dynamic and supportive work environment.
