Household Movers

Maxsys Staffing & Consulting urgently requires experienced Movers (Household goods) – Calgary SE and NEWe are seeking reliable, and energetic individuals to assist with various moving jobs in Calgary. Household Movers are responsible for efficiently and safely relocating household furniture. Ideal candidates should possess physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Able to lift up to 88lbs (team lifting if required)

Able to handle various home furnishings

Safely dismantle, move, and reassemble furniture

Ensure all items are securely packed for transportation

Loading and Unloading:
• Load and unload furniture items onto trucks with precision, maximizing space and preventing damage during transit
• Utilize appropriate lifting and carrying techniques to avoid injury and ensure the safety of the team
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a smooth moving process.

Customer Service:
• Interact professionally with clients
• Provide excellent customer service, representing the company in a positive manner

Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough checks before, during, and after the move ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
• Report any damages or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in moving household goods required
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items regularly
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed

Requirements:
• Must wear steel toed safety footwear
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
• Customer-focused attitude and commitment to delivering quality service
