This role is hybrid in our Calgary office on a 12-month contract.

What The Day Will Look Like- Provide insurance advice and guidance to commercial clients
- Identify specific client risk exposure and develop and present innovative coverage solutions
- Production of new business through existing clients, client referrals, targeted campaigns and the Aon client network
- Service assigned book of business by developing and managing client relationships/expectations
- Establish account-specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions and provide continued opportunity for Aon product/service exposure
- Develop and manage the client reporting and stewardship process to ensure customer needs are communicated and expectations are met
- Collaborate with broking colleagues to develop coverage strategy and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business
- Broker new business and renewal policies with Aon Brokers, Aon Facilities and/or the appropriate insurance market where applicable
- Provide direction when a claim is reported or inquired upon
- Respond to client inquiries by telephone or by email
Our new colleague will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our client sales and service business group within Aon Risk Solutions. As an Account Executive, you will report to the Public Sector Practice Team Leader.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success- Minimum of five years in a similar role
- Alberta Level 2 General Insurance Agent License and completed, or working towards, CIP and/or CAIB
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with proficiency in both verbal and written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage concurrent projects
- Consistent track record of prioritizing meaningful projects, sometimes under tight timelines
- Insurance savvy and comfortable with policy contract language and compliance obligations
- High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
