We are partnering with one of Calgary’s fastest-growing brokerages, achieving over 35% growth last year. They provide customized, comprehensive insurance solutions to clients across multiple lines of business. Our client is looking for a Personal Lines Team Lead to manage a team of 3–4 account managers and contribute to the continued success of their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a book of personal lines business, focusing on retention, profitability, and growth
- Lead, coach, and support a team of account managers to ensure high-quality service and achievement of performance goals
- Act as a liaison between producers and the team, fostering effective communication and collaboration
- Handle complex or escalated client inquiries, providing solutions and advice
- Maintain and update client records and policies in EPIC or a similar broker management system
- Monitor and report on key metrics and personal lines market trends
- Stay current with industry best practices, regulations, and products
- Participate in training and development initiatives
- Deliver and analyze system reporting for leadership
- Minimum 5 years’ personal lines insurance experience in a brokerage environment
- Valid Level 2 General Insurance License in Alberta
- Experience leading or mentoring account managers (formal title not required)
- Familiarity with EPIC or similar broker management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
