Salary range: 94, per year. Annual bonus target based on the base salary with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance). 12% payout.

• Accept, reject, endorse, renew or cancel policies following Intact underwriting guidelines, applicable laws, and regulations.
• Develop business opportunities and long‑term relationships with broker partners.
• Use negotiating skills to maintain healthy relationships within and outside the company.
• Answer inquiries and make recommendations to brokers and underwriters through verbal and written correspondence.
• Participate in broker visits, industry functions, and marketing events.
• Review underwriting reports and provide recommendations.
• Communicate changes related to product pricing, underwriting guidelines and new products.
• Support and mentor team members within Specialty Solutions and other divisions at Intact.

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years underwriting experience in specialty lines or mid‑to‑large‑market commercial lines, and 1‑2 years in energy underwriting.
• Experience in renewable energy underwriting is an asset.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Initiative, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility to change.
• Strong analytical, negotiating skills, and business savvy.
• Can develop and maintain excellent relationships with brokers.
• Ability to make timely decisions, address complex problems, provide recommended actions, and take calculated risks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products, intermediate Excel proficiency.
• No Canadian work experience required but must be eligible to work in Canada.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism required.
