Overview
Hexagon’s Positioning+ division is looking for a Data Management Team Lead to join our team where you will oversee our Data Management team and processes. We are a high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Your activities include performing the administration and coordination of Data Management processes in our PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system including: part creation, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Temporary Deviation Notices (TDN), and data transmission to suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities
As Data Management Team Lead, you will be responsible performing Data Management leadership functions while performing Data Management tasks (the expected breakdown is 30% leadership and 70% task work)
Data Management
Provide change control guidance and coordination for production datasets and documentation storage servicesAdminister the Windchill PLM tool (user/document organization, monitoring workflows,Organize and conduct Engineering Change Order (ECO) meetingsProvide and track dataset / documentation deliveries to suppliers and customerIssue Temporary Deviation Notices (TDN) and monitor to completionProvide training and assistance to the company for data management processes and the use of the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) toolRegularly engage with users of the PLM tool and lead the prioritization of improvements/enhancements to increase user satisfaction.Leadership
Assign work to the appropriate team member and follow up on the work to ensure it is being completed and escalate as necessaryRemove roadblocks by working directly and collaboratively with the other functional domain leadsLead the formal problem-solving process and ensure the root cause of issues is addressedEnsure the Data Management processes are adhered to, provide reporting and drive process improvements based on Key Performance MeasuresMotivate, inspire, and develop team members to ensure they are performing at the highest levelRegularly provide performance feedback to employees and complete semi-annual performance reviewsWork closely with internal customers to understand their needs and prioritize their requestsQualifications
Must-Have:
Electronics technology diploma and 5 years related experience in data management OR high school diploma and 10 years of related experience in data managementStrong logical thinking and organizational skillsAbility to mentor and develop team membersAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to coordinate the work of othersAbility to provide clear verbal and written work instructionsExcellent working knowledge of windows-based office applicationsAbility to administer and make updates to complex business systems (. PLM or ERP systems)Key Success Factors:
