** The Opportunity
** Vermilion is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Systems and Data to lead enterprise business applications, ERP platforms, and Data & Analytics capabilities that enable our operational and digital strategy. Reporting to the Director, IT & Information Systems, this role partners closely with business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and value-driven technology solutions.
** What you will do
*** Lead enterprise business systems, ERP, and data initiatives aligned with corporate and digital strategies.
* Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective technology solutions.
* Oversee the enterprise application and data portfolio, including project intake, prioritization, governance, and delivery.
* Drive continuous improvement of ERP and enterprise systems through system enhancements, upgrades, and process optimization.
* Lead Data & Analytics and AI enablement initiatives, including automation, predictive analytics, and decision-support solutions.
* Manage vendor relationships and ensure partners deliver value aligned with business objectives.
* Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future system direction.
* Contribute to IT & IS strategic planning and budget management.
* Strong understanding of North American oil and gas operations, particularly development and production environments.
** What you will bring
*** Experience leading ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
* Proven experience with data, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
* Demonstrated experience enabling and governing the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation technologies to improve business processes, analytics, and decision-making.
* Ability to translate AI and advanced analytics capabilities into practical, business-focused solutions while promoting responsible and secure use.
* Demonstrated success managing vendors, contracts, and external partners.
* Solid project and portfolio management experience.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across the organization.
* Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and competing priorities.
