Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong financials and governance to lead multiple upgrade lifecycle projects working with third party vendors
This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in Calgary or Edm
Must Haves:
10+ years' experience as a Project Manager
, leading a variety of technology projects (software development, upgrades, system integrations, and enterprise system implementations)Experience with MS Teams and O tools, MS Project, reporting tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel skills.Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologiesExperience working with a Managed Service Providers
; ability to manage third-party vendors including SOW's and contractsResponsibilities:
Manage project budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance reporting with strong financial discipline.Oversee third‑party vendor SOWs and work authorizations, tracking delivery against milestones and outcomes.Follow established processes to engage and manage Managed Service Provider.
Demonstrated experience working on projects for companies governed by IFRSCoordinate cross‑functional teams, including technical, OCM, business partners, and external vendors, to ensure integrated and effective delivery.Balance technical implementation with operational business processes to deliver measurable business value.Ensure appropriate project resourcing in collaboration with Delivery Assurance and functional business teamsPartner with Project Sponsors and key stakeholders to define project charters, objectives, and success measures.Build and maintain credibility with executives, steering committees, and delivery teams.Present clear, concise project updates to senior leadership, translating technical concepts into business‑relevant insights
