Reporting to the Team Lead, Integrations & Development within the Enterprise Applications team, this position is part of a geographically dispersed team of Solutions Analysts. It is a hybrid role that can be filled in any of our offices across Canada.
Job Overview We are seeking a Solutions Analyst to join our Integrations and Development team. In this role, you will act as a key link between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our systems and processes deliver maximum value.
You Will Be Focusing On

Specific Responsibilities
- Deliver business solutions through development and integration of new and existing systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Propose IT solutions that align with business goals and processes.
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions to meet business needs.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution to ensure solutions function as intended.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for end‑users as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve system solutions.
- Liaise with the Technical Design Authority (TDA) to ensure applications comply with stipulated technical guidelines.
- Analyze technical documents and reverse engineer products to document functionality and data schemas where none exist.
- Troubleshoot identified issues and be accountable for issue resolution.
- Escalate to vendors as required.
- Support knowledge transition by completing service transition documentation, creating knowledge‑base articles, and building and maintaining runbooks.
- Provide after‑hours call support, participate in monthly post‑patch testing, perform system upgrades during non‑peak business hours, and respond to major incidents promptly.
- Adhere to defined ITSM processes: create change tickets, follow approvals, coordinate required resources, and present changes to the Change Advisory Board; monitor the team queue for incidents, capture troubleshooting activities, analyze recurring problems for root cause, propose remediation activities, and execute on them.
What You Bring To The Role
- A college diploma with a technology focus (e.g., computer science) or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and professional certifications.
- At least 4–6 years of experience in IT, progressing from a developer/integrator/DBA.
- Technical skills in .NET (C#), Power Shell, Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, SSRS, SSIS), Microsoft Power Platform (Power
BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), Automation (Robotic Process and/or Test Automation), SharePoint, HTML & JavaScript. - Highly effective at translating new ideas and complex technical concepts to non‑technical business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of legal industry technologies (document management, practice management, knowledge management, case management systems) is highly desirable.
- Willingness and flexibility to work non‑standard hours as required to support project and support activities.
- Ability to cope with conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Self‑motivated and self‑managed.
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and written.
- Team player who takes personal responsibility for getting things done.
- Written and spoken English is required; bilingual French is an asset.
- ITIL Foundation certification (achieved).
