On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Senior Storage Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

- Job Description:


The project involves administering and implementing key improvements within our client's Data Center and Private Cloud environments. The Senior Storage Analyst will play a crucial role in change, incident, and release management for the storage and compute stacks, ensuring system stability and functionality.

Senior Storage Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Deploy synchronous storage replication between HPE Alletra arrays in geographically separated data centers for zero-data-loss protection on critical volumes

• Enterprise SAN Fabric (Brocade) administration

• Audit and validate all existing backup configurations against tier-based recovery requirements, ensuring alignment for RPO, RTO, and retention policies

Senior Storage Analyst - Mandatory

Skills:



• Extensive experience managing: HPE Alletra storage arrays, Brocade Director Class switches, HPE Synergy Blade administration/storage management

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent combination of industry training and experience

• 10+ years of working experience within an Enterprise environment, supporting diverse IT Infrastructure platforms

• Solid working experience with storage platforms, and excellent understanding of storage protocols including: iSCSI, Fibrechannel, FCoE and NFS/SMB

Senior Storage Analyst – Nice-to-Have

Skills:



• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundations components such as vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, Aria suite
