Our client is looking for a Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure
to lead a hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environment.
Lead a team of 9 engineers driving hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure. We need a proactive, hands-on manager to modernize the environment with cloud-first strategies, automation, and optimized processes
, while improving customer experience and team performance.
6-month contract position
Must Have:
8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience3+ years in hybrid cloud environments.4+ years leadership experience managing technical teams.Expertise in:
Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, monitoring)On-prem virtualization & servers (Windows/Linux)Palo Alto Networks firewalls & security frameworksProven experience with observability platforms (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Solar Winds, Grafana, Elastic, etc.).Experience with Dev Ops/automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Git Hub, Jenkins).Strong understanding of infrastructure security, Zero Trust, and compliance.Excellent communication and stakeholder/vendor management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Nice-to-Have:
Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Relevant certifications (Azure Architect, VMware, CCIE, etc.)Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving technology environmentResponsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and optimize a 9-person Cloud/Server and Network Operations teamDrive cloud-first modernization and automation initiativesOptimize servers, virtualization, networking, and observability platformsProactively manage incidents, service delivery, and vendor relationshipImprove processes, response times, and overall service qualityOversee disaster recovery, incident management, and vendor relationships
