Position: Senior ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB / Discovery Developer/Lead to design, implement, and optimize IT Operations Management

We are seeking a Senior Service Now ITOM / CMDB / Discovery Developer/Lead to design, implement, and optimize IT Operations Management capabilities on the Service Now platform. This role will own Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB data quality, working closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to deliver accurate service visibility and operational automation.

Work Mode - Onsite 5 days per week in Calgary

Duration - 1 year with a possibility of multiple extensions

Must Haves

  • 6+ years of Service Now development experience.
  • Proficiency with Service Now ITOM suite:
    Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB.
  • Deep understanding of CMDB design, CI relationships, reconciliation, and normalization.
  • Deep understanding of CSDM, CI lifecycle, and CMDB governance.
  • Strong scripting skills: J
    ava Script, Glide API, Flow Designer.
  • Experience with MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Integration experience using REST/SOAP/APIs.
  • Proven experience integrating Service Now with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise tools.
  • Certifications (Preferred)
  • Service Now CSA
  • Service Now CAD
  • Service Now CIS – ITOM Discovery / CMDB
