Aplin has partnered with our Calgary-based client to hire a Human Resources Generalist to provide support in the areas of recruitment, performance management and employee relations. The ideal candidate must have three to five years of experience as an HR Generalist with union experience.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection; collaborating with Hiring Managers to create job descriptions, job advertisements and interview questionsOnboarding and Exit InterviewsBe the key contact for all employee-related issues and concernsAdvise and coach Managers in handling employee issues and concernsProvide advice to Managers on managing performance issuesDevelop and oversee internal policies and ensure adherence to employment laws and regulationsOffer expert interpretation and advice on Collective Bargaining AgreementsHR Metrics and reportingQualifications:
