Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll across multiple provinces and international locations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws

Administer payroll for unionized employee groups, maintaining accuracy in rates and deductions

Oversee benefit calculations and administration, including commissions, RRSPs, pension plans, garnishments, and Worker’s Compensation Board matters

Manage vacation accruals, leaves of absence, annual bonuses, and employee expense reimbursements

Prepare and file T4s and Records of Employment (ROEs) in accordance with statutory deadlines

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters

Perform regular and ad hoc payroll reconciliations; support payroll accounting and reporting activities
