Reporting to the Senior Lead, Human Resources, the Advisor, Human Resources will provide HR support to our functional groups and is responsible for the entire full employee life cycle. This is an 18‑month temporary position based out of our Calgary office.

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
• Create and maintain pro‑active, effective, and trusting relationships with leaders and employees to provide advice, guidance, and counsel on HR matters
• Participate in talent management activities for your client group including succession planning, performance management and talent development
• Support employee development and training programs through communication, education, and recommendation of various internal and external programs
• Assist in the implementation and administration of human resources policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law
• Investigate employee relations issues including employee matters and performance issues while maintaining confidentiality, consistency, and sensitivity
• Support and participate in the disability management process

• Minimum six years related human resources experience
• Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent

Salary: $90,080 / year

EVR is a Canadian steelmaking coal producer. We take our responsibilities to our people, to society and to the environment seriously. The high‑quality steelmaking coal EVR produces is an essential input for steel that can be used for constructing products such as wind turbines and critical infrastructure including rail, bridges, hospitals and schools.
