Under the direction of the Front of House Management Team, our Hosts create a positive guest experience that begins with a proper greeting. They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity and communicating with all employees. Hosts leave a lasting impression with their professionalism and attention to detail.
Day to day:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
- Manage reservations and walk-in traffic using Open Table
- Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
- Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations
- Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach
- Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
- Previous experience as a host or in a guest-facing hospitality role is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using reservation and table management systems (Open Table), preferred
- A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- This is a full-time position
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Wage: $15 + shared gratuities
