What the role is about

You have a strong desire to help people and to create memorable interactions with guests and co-workers. You will be a valued member of the Food & Beverage team responsible for serving F&B items for the Hockey House and EIGHTYEIGHT Bar & Grill. You are willing to learn and grow in your new role by supporting the event operations teams when required.

We offer 2‑3 shifts per week with shift times ranging between 10 am and 2 am, seven days a week.

• Ensure opening and closing duties are completed to standard for all designated areas.
• Provide prompt and efficient service to guests.
• Maintain bar and floor areas to the standard required for presentation and cleanliness.
• Administer the beverage bar service according to AGLC laws relative to Canada Olympic Park's operating policies and procedures.
• Ensure opening inventory is correct; add any transfers and ensure closing inventory is accurately counted and recorded.
• Ensure all cash and credit card charges are processed and settled accurately.
• Perform housekeeping tasks appropriate to the outlets and report any property damage or unsafe working conditions.
• Maintain supplies and equipment within the departments.

• Pro Serve certification.
• Previous experience in a related customer service role.
• Cash handling experience is an asset.
• Strong verbal communication skills when dealing with guests and staff.
• Display professionalism at all times.
• Possess a valid Alberta Class 5 Driver License (asset).

• Walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Must have full mobility and be able to work in a physical environment.
• Willing and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
