Hotel Arts is currently seeking a dedicated Catering & Event Services Manager. This pivotal role involves selling and overseeing all catering food, beverage, and room rental revenues within a specific market at our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Solicit and generate new business opportunitiesCollaborate with event planners to coordinate catering needsManage all aspects of catering, with a primary focus on food & beverage, including setup details, agendas, and event logistics to ensure client objectives are metNegotiate with clients on menu planning, beverage requirements, and other event specificsConfirm event details with clients and prepare necessary documentation such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumesEnforce Catering Agreements according to hotel policiesCoordinate with outside vendors as neededMaintain pricing integrity and propose upscale menus for groupsWork closely with various hotel departments to ensure seamless event executionConduct post-event follow-up with clientsQualifications:
Proficiency in hotel sales platforms like OperaAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsStrong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships across departments1-2 years of experience in hotel catering, events, meetings, or conference rolesFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookComprehensive understanding of event setups, space functionalities, and operationsThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary and eligibility for bonuses upon achieving sales targets.
