Job Description & How to Apply Below

Develop your potential. Make a difference.

Are you a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to enhancing the health and well‑being of Canadians? At Lifemark, your work makes a real difference—expanding access to care and creating lasting impact in the communities you serve.

Lifemark Sport Medicine MNP Community & Sport Centre – 2225 Mac Leod Trail S., Calgary, AB, T2G 5B6.

Lifemark MNP is located in the centre of downtown Calgary within the largest recreation centre. The clinic is a true health centre where we have a strong multidisciplinary approach to patient care. We have 10 orthopaedic surgeons along with a plastic surgeon presence. Specialists such as knee surgeons work with physiotherapists to form interdisciplinary clinics to improve patient outcomes. Alongside we have two unique contracts that offer patient‑specific advice to community therapists across Alberta.

We also have a unique private cast clinic that supports the Talaris foot and ankle group in order to fit our model of specialized care under one roof.

Your impact

As a Lifemark physiotherapist, you’ll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals. You’ll be more than a care provider; you’ll be an educator, motivator, and problem‑solver, lifting people up, meeting people where they are in their health journeys, sharing knowledge, and delivering top‑quality, patient‑centered care. In this role, you will:

  • Develop personalized, evidence‑informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient‑centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
  • Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Utilize modern tools, including e‑charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
  • Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
  • Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self‑management strategies.
Are you the right fit?

We're seeking a compassionate clinician who leads with empathy and integrity. A great listener, a clear communicator, and someone who seeks to understand what motivates our patients to guide how to personalise a plan of care to meet their needs. Above all, you are driven to grow – both professionally and personally. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Active licence in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient‑first mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • 1–2+ years of outpatient clinic experience (preferred; new graduates with provisional licences are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
