Bayshore is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Caregiver to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while ensuring their comfort, safety and overall well‑being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry and general household management.
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
  • Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives.
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs.
  • Perform specialised procedures for clients where training has been provided, demonstrating current competency.
  • Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or Office.
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Requirements
  • Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training programme or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to work various shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English;
    French proficiency is an asset.
  • Current knowledge of community care practices to provide high‑quality services.
  • Physically able to assist clients with movement and repositioning; able to lift 23 kg, squat, bend, stand and reach.
  • Reliable mode of transportation; driver’s licence and vehicle are an asset.
  • Ability to provide a clear Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
