Overview
TAPP Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sonographer on behalf of our expanding diagnostic imaging client located in Calgary, Alberta. The clinic delivers superior medical imaging services and is a leader in Musculoskeletal, Women’s and Obstetrical Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Pain Management. The organization emphasizes compassionate patient care, excellence for referring providers, and ongoing growth and development for its team. Their subspecialty-trained Radiologists and skilled clinical and support staff work collaboratively to provide exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional, compassionate care to create an exceptional patient experience
- Anticipate patient needs, answer questions, and maintain a comfortable, safe clinical environment
- Review examinations for appropriateness and patient eligibility
- Obtain patient history and educate patients on upcoming exams
- Demonstrate competence in abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, venous, carotid Doppler, and assist with interventional procedures
- Additional competencies—musculoskeletal, arterial Doppler, transrectal, and neuro sonography—are considered an asset
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong independent judgment
- Apply critical thinking when assessing complex pathologies
- Communicate clearly with staff and patients
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-focused environment within the ultrasound department and across the clinic
- Diploma or certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Experience in a clinic or hospital setting is an asset
- Registration in good standing with Sonography Canada
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hourly rate: $43–$58/hr, commensurate with experience

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, with flexibility for occasional evening and/or weekend shifts.
