Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT) at CGA Medical Imaging located in Calgary, AB. The MRT will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, operating radiologic equipment, and assisting radiologists and physicians in providing accurate findings. Key day-to-day tasks include maintaining patient safety during procedures, adhering to established protocols and radiation safety standards, and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping of all imaging results.

The MRT will also collaborate effectively with the clinical team to deliver compassionate and patient-centered care.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and familiarity with advanced imaging equipment
  • Certification or eligibility for registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification
  • Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and best practices
  • Understanding of medical imaging principles and a foundational knowledge of Radiology
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills to ensure a comfortable experience for diverse patient populations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Current and valid licensing or certification as required in Alberta
  • CPR certification is an asset
  • Prior experience in a diagnostic imaging clinic is a plus
