- Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years - Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years Tasks - Analyze the patient during the treatments
- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment
- Supervise other specialized sonographers
- Monitor examination to evaluate quality and consistency of diagnostic images, and make adjustments to equipment, as required
- Train students or other medical sonographers
- Record, store and process scanned images by using camera unit connected to the ultrasound equipment
- Provide personnal asistance to patients during treatments Employment terms options
