Your Opportunity
Child Development Services (CDS) invites psychologists to join our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnostic Clinic, a specialized program providing comprehensive assessment and diagnostic services for children and adolescents. In this role, you will independently conduct full evaluations for autism and related developmental concerns, using standardized cognitive, adaptive, social, and behavioral measures, clinical observation, and parent interviews to provide accurate diagnoses and actionable recommendations.
You will work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team—pediatricians, occupational/speech therapists, social workers, nurses, psychometrists, education consultants—ensuring that assessment results translate into practical guidance for families, schools, and community providers. While this role emphasizes independent diagnostic expertise, you will also have opportunities to consult with colleagues, contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and may provide mentorship to learners. We are seeking psychologists who bring strong clinical judgment, experience in autism assessment, and the ability to guide families through complex care pathways with sensitivity, cultural awareness, and trauma‑informed approaches.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s developmental trajectories, support families in understanding and accessing interventions, and shape ASD services within a tertiary‑level pediatric setting. If you are a psychologist with the expertise and confidence to independently assess and diagnose autism, thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration, and are committed to family‑centered care, this position offers a challenging and rewarding professional opportunity.
NOTE:
This clinic currently has 4 psychologist postings. Candidates are encouraged to apply for all postings.
