Qualicare Calgary has immediate openings for Caregivers!

The Health Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. The HCA we are looking for MUST be available for morning shift 7 a.m. to 12 noon; 5 to 7 days per week. For the right fit we can guarantee 35 hours per week.

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/ Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
  
  Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting

• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student).
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• MUST be available for 7 a.m. to 12 noon shift
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around location territory
• Driver's license
• Access to Internet/mobile phone
