Rehabilitation Aide — Extendicare Cedars Villa

243‑bed Long‑Term Care Home located in the southwest Calgary.

Full‑time Certified Rehabilitation Aide position.

• Directly account to the OT/PT.
• Implement maintenance of patient programming under the direction of the OT/PT.
• Communicate changes in resident abilities and function to the OT/PT to complete assigned programs.
• Prepare apparatus and equipment required for the program.
• Record resident participation in the programs.
• Complete tasks as assigned by the OT/PT for the benefit of the residents.

• Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Rehabilitation therapy aide or therapy assistant related field from a community college or university.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience preferable in Continuing Care.
Excellent customer‑service skills.
• Proven track record with fundraising.
• Experience with RAI 2.0, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work alone and with others while prioritizing tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in stressful situations and with diverse individuals or groups.
• Strong organizing, planning, prioritizing, time‑management and multi‑tasking abilities.
