At 94 years old, Harry is navigating life after the loss of his beloved wife. His home is filled with cherished memories—watching his children learn to ride bikes, hosting lively barbecues, and enjoying family dinners. However, Harry is living with dementia, which makes everyday tasks challenging. He needs compassionate support to help him engage with life and retain his independence.

As a Care Giver, you’ll play a crucial role in Harry’s journey, assisting him with tasks such as:

• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Support for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Assistance with personal care (dressing, grooming, bathing, etc.)
• Engaging and friendly communication to foster connection

• Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid Class 5 driver’s license - please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement
• Residence in Calgary, Alberta, or surrounding areas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Consistent, non-flexible availability
• Clear criminal background check

• 24/7 Support: You’ll have ongoing assistance from the Home Instead team whenever you need it
