We are currently seeking applicants for a Registered Massage Therapist (minimum 2200hr) position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.
Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' health histories and conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Massage Therapy: Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and other therapeutic modalities, based on clients' needs and preferences.
- Treatment Planning: Design and modify treatment plans to address clients' specific goals, such as pain relief, injury rehabilitation, stress reduction, and relaxation.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and recommendations for further sessions.

Education:
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, self-care techniques, and home exercises to support their treatment outcomes. - Collaboration: Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive and integrated client care.
- Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including maintaining cleanliness of treatment rooms and following infection control procedures.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and best practices through continuing education and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Massage Therapy program and current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Alberta.
- Minimum of 6 months- 1year of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to massage therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
