About the job Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Assistant
We are currently seeking applicants for a Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Assistant position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and other Pharmacy Team Members, you will be responsible for:
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Data entry of patient care information
- Third Party adjudication where required and necessary
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
- Preparing compliance packaging
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy setting
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Strong motivation to succeed
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Experience with Pharmaclik Rx is an asset
- $20.00 $ 30.00 per hour
- Employee discount (able to purchase items at the store's cost)
