20.00 - 22.00 DOE - Full Time - MUST HAVE MEDI-CAL BILLING EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year verified experience in Medi-Cal billing in a SNF, in addition to billing systems in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Hospital. Proficient in Medi-Cal applicant process, TARS, A/R Collection, excellent follow up with claims, along with private collection (share of cost). In addition to data entry, business phone etiquette experience and a committed work ethic can-do attitude.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Medi-Cal Billing experience 1 year or less.
- Must have at least one (1) years’ experience in a clerical position or successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited school/college.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to effectively use a 10-key calculator and have working knowledge of computers, Input/output/retrieval data, etc.
- This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
