Position: DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS
Responsibilities
:
Divisional & Operational Support
Act as a finance business partner to divisional leaders, leading divisional analysts and translating financial data into actionable business insights.Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and performance commentary related to operational performance.Manage the preparation of financial forecasts and capital budgets in alignment with corporate planning cycles.Sales Strategy & Support
Develop a deep understanding of operations, KPIs, profitability drivers, and the competitive landscape.Partner with the sales team on pricing analysis and profitability projections for jobs, projects, and customer segments.Oversee detailed customer profitability analyses to assess performance and identify trends.Corporate Support
Lead the development of annual budgets and multi-year financial forecasts.Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the impact of policy changes, industry trends, and macroeconomic shifts.Provide insights on industry benchmarks and economic drivers.Support corporate strategy, including M&A evaluations, competitive analysis, and growth planning.Oversee the preparation of materials for and actively participate in meeting with the Board of Directors.Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders to anticipate operational and economic changes.Experience &
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, CFA, CPA preferred).10+ years in FP&A or Corporate Finance roles with progressive responsibility.Advanced financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel;
Power BI experience is an asset.Strong communication and ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders.Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.Oil & gas or energy services experience is an advantage.What Makes Us Attractive:
