Mobile Mortgage Specialist – TD
Join TD’s team as a Mobile Mortgage Specialist in Calgary, Alberta. You will build and maintain relationships with clients, realtors, builders, financial planners, and other partners to grow TD’s mortgage business through mobile‑first interactions.
Job OverviewAs a Mortgage Mobile Specialist (MMS), you will be accountable for retaining and expanding client and partner relationships, establishing mortgage development initiatives to target referrals, and providing banking relationships for new and existing customers to address their mortgage lending needs. You will support the end‑to‑end customer journey strategy.
Responsibilities- Identify client life and financial goals, recommend solutions, and manage ongoing relationship/portfolio.
- Generate referral opportunities to partners across Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, and Commercial lines.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients’ financial circumstances and provide financial planning expertise.
- Deliver a legendary customer experience, ensuring positive first impressions in all sales, service, and informational conversations.
- Provide sound advice and contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience.
- Identify and refer customers to internal TD partners as appropriate; support ONE TD.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of real‑estate market, mortgage lending competitive offers, and economic trends.
- Acquire expert knowledge of TD mortgage products and partner with TD’s employee‑focused culture.
- Escalate unresolved customer issues to management.
- Build and exhibit sales skills, credit knowledge, and execute sales calls under District Manager guidance.
- Support the achievement of sales and business development objectives, meeting or exceeding monthly mortgage sales targets.
- Promote TD’s image in community and professional networks.
- Implement compliance procedures, manage risk, and maintain confidentiality.
- Monitor service productivity, implement process improvements, and provide continuous compliance training.
- Participate in team meetings, knowledge transfer, performance management, and coaching.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and secure handling of any non‑standard activities.
- Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a client‑facing, sales or relationship‑focused role.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, competitive landscape, and economic trends.
- Proven sales skills and ability to build long‑term relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service aptitude.
- Knowledge of risk management and compliance best practices.
