Griffith & Associates is a financial planning firm in Calgary, Alberta. Over the last 17 years, they have grown to be one of Calgary's top firms, specializing in in-depth financial, tax and estate planning. Their dynamic team excels in building strategies for executives and business owners. They currently service over 400m in assets.

The Griffith & Associates team is growing, and they are looking to hire an experienced Associate Financial Advisor. The Associate Financial Advisor will be responsible for managing an assigned block of clients within the current book as well as growing the book, and duties would include meeting preparation, regular review meetings, portfolio rebalances, portfolio recommendations and tax planning, financial plan projections, and client follows ups.

Job Summary:

  • The successful candidate will be self-driven, highly organized and detailed, will have excellent people skills, and thrive working in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • The successful candidate will have the CSC and CPH, ready for licensing with CIRO, and should have completed the LLQP, or be in the process of obtaining it.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or a Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation or in the process of it.
  • A strong understanding of the Microsoft platform is mandatory and be familiar with Salesforce.
  • The successful candidate should have at least 5 years of applicable experience in directly advising clients within the parameters listed above.
